Pak coaches introduced to modern badminton training methods

A coaching seminar organized by Razi Sports Academy concluded at Shalimar Club, where badminton coaches and physical education teachers from across the country received modern training aimed at improving coaching standards in Pakistan.

Around 40 male and female badminton coaches and physical education teachers participated in the seminar. It was the first time in Pakistan that participants were trained through a shuttle feeding machine, introducing them to advanced coaching methods and modern training techniques.

International badminton coach Raziuddin Ahmad briefed the participants on international requirements of badminton, contemporary techniques and high-performance training methods. He especially encouraged young male and female coaches to adopt modern approaches for grooming children at school level.

During the seminar, certificates were distributed among the participating coaches and teachers by the chief guests including Syed Rizwan Mashhadi, Saqib Rafiq, Chaudhry Nadeem Manzoor, Muhammad Naeem Chaudhry and Rizwan Chaudhry.

Experts from different fields also addressed the seminar. Dr. Muhammad Safdar Ali spoke on physical fitness, while Dr. Ghulam Shabbir Anjum delivered a lecture on nutrition. Malik Khalid Zameer provided awareness regarding anti-doping measures in sports.
Pakistan’s renowned international Davis Cup player Inam-ul-Haq also shared his experiences and highlighted the challenges faced by athletes during international competitions and strategies to overcome them.

Speaking on the occasion, Raziuddin Ahmad said that Razi Sports Academy planned to organize training camps across the country and ensure the provision of shuttlecocks at school-level campuses to promote badminton among young players.
