PML-N leader Capt (retd.) Safdar on Thursday criticised PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari over his allegations of rigging in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections, saying PPP was questioning the results only after suffering defeat. Speaking to reporters in Peshawar, Safdar said the PML-N did not allege electoral manipulation when the PPP won elections in Gilgit-Baltistan. “If Bilawal believes there was rigging in the AJK elections, we are ready to face the contest again,” he said.
Referring to the opposition’s criticism of the federal government as being the product of “Form 47”, Safdar questioned the PPP’s position, asking where it stood if it considered the federal government to have come to power through disputed election results.
He also said the PML-N would not require an alliance with the PPP in Azad Kashmir.Latest News, Breaking News & Top News Stories | The Express TribuneOur CorrespondentRead More
