The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday reserved its verdict in a case challenging the suspension of the Senate by-election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, following detailed arguments over whether the seat vacated after PTI leader Murad Saeed’s disqualification legally required a fresh poll.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja heard arguments from both sides before reserving its judgment.
