Gold prices drop Rs5,600 per tola locally

Gold prices declined in both international and local markets on Tuesday. The price of gold in the international bullion market fell by $56 per ounce to $4,017 per ounce.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), in the local market, the price of gold per tola declined by Rs5,600 to Rs424,136. The price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs4,801 to Rs363,628.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola declined by Rs50 to Rs6,289. The price of 10 grams of silver also fell by Rs43 to Rs5,391.

On Monday, according to the APGJSA, the price of gold in the local market stood at Rs429,736 per tola after declining by Rs3,800, while the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs3,258 to Rs368,429.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola declined by Rs123 to Rs6,339.

Last Friday, gold prices declined in global and local markets, while silver prices increased. In the international bullion market, the price of gold fell by $14 per ounce to $4,100.

According to the APGJSA, the price of gold per tola in the local market decreased by Rs1,400 to Rs432,436. The price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs1,200 to Rs370,744.
