Pakistan Single Window (PSW) has launched its mobile application on Wednesday to improve digital access to cross-border trade services.
Through the app, importers, exporterscustoms clearing agents and other trade stakeholders will be able to securely and conveniently access key trade services on their mobile phones.
The mobile app is part of PSW’s existing digital ecosystem, designed to keep users updated on their trade activities anytime, anywhere.
Using the app, importers, exporters and customs clearing agents can track the progress of their declarations, monitor regulatory requirements and receive real-time customs clearance updates directly on their smartphones.
The app offers more than just declaration tracking. Users can also view regulatory and financial certificates and submit a range of key requests, including declaration cancellation, duty drawback, provincial cess exemption or waiver, bank guarantee issuance and other operational services.
The app also includes payment functionality. Users can generate payment slip IDs, view paid and outstanding slips, access payment details and make payments through their personal deposit accounts.Officials say the initiative simplifies compliance, reduces paperwork and accelerates trade processes for businesses across Pakistan.
