A court on Saturday extended the physical remand of a suspended police official accused of sexually assaulting a mentally challenged girl in Ghaziabad.
The suspect was handed over to police for four days. Imran Anwar, a suspended assistant sub-inspector, was produced in the Cantt Courts after completion of his previous remand.
The police requested the court to grant further physical remand of the suspect to complete the investigation.
