Relatives and local residents staged a protest against the alleged abduction of trader Haji Zarif alias Lunday in Landi Kotal and blocked the Pak-Afghan Highway at Charwazgai to all traffic, demanding his immediate recovery.
According to police, Haji Zarif left his residence in a motorcar for Landi Kotal Bazaar on Thursday but went missing near the market. The police said the FIR registered in the case stated that unidentified persons allegedly forced the trader out of his vehicle and took him away.
